Located in the south eastern corner of Carroll County, Eldersburg is a bustling town with all of the conveniences and amenities that one would look for in a Baltimore suburb.


Eldersburg was named after John Elder, an early settler who plotted the land out before 1800, and was a local contractor, building churches throughout the area.


Today, Maryland Rt. 32 is Eldersburg's main thoroughfare, connecting its residents to Rt. 70, Frederick, Columbia, Ellicott City, and Baltimore City.


Piney Ridge Village, Collins Estates, and Sweet Air Estates are included in the many communities located in Eldersburg.
